It's been a while since I was tossed production work from the Ginger Deej Hatchmatik, but I was happy to get this one on my wall from the man himself yesterday.   The Vocal on this one has been tired out a bit, but the song is everything nice and makes me feel good, so I can totally stand behind this one.  Been bumping this little smooth roller for a steady two days, and I am going to keep it going.  Check it out, and then check Hatchy's set this weekend at the Sound Academy for the Redbull Thre3style Event this coming weekend if you like what you hear and want to see a DJ get serious on the decks.  These are the Canadian finals so Hatch should be working on his set or something along those lines right now, or watching hockey related videos of some sort.  He probably won't have to practice toooo much,  dude can spin like a monster eats babies and wimpy kids.  Heavy status.

French Mix Fix

House heads beware, I have got two sweet little mixes here from our French-Canadian homies Hatchmatik and ZUBI.  Both are highly respected djs in their hometown of Montreal, and rightfully so.  For example, every time I put on something by Hatchmatik or his crew Peer Pressure, I get all teary-eyed.  That's partly because I am a pussy, but also because those guys really ran the shit back when I lived in Montreal through '06 and '07, and missing most of their sets since those beautiful days has been a worthwhile reason to have a little cry here and there.  Obviously.
