Better? Nah.

Better than running into this bad ass looking gangster, maybe. Image by the talented M. Krajnak of New Jersey. Click image to see more of his fantastic work.

John Tejada is a name which I will admit I hear quite a bit, but which I regrettably have little experience with - - in terms of time spent - - knowingly - - listening to his tracks.  The guy is a legend in his own right, based simply on the number of nasty labels he has released on, some of which can be seen by checking out his resident advisor DJ page or his Discogs page.  Dude makes some serious freaking tuners that will leave you in diapers eating out of a fucking airplane spoon - - face it, guys like this will always make producers like us feel like children.  Oh well, at least the peach puree tastes damn good.  Much on these.

I can see this tune being a soundtrack to some of my better days for sure.  Or a song I would cry to while thinking of how much I love the girl who just dumped me.  Either way, useful and good for the emotional roller coaster rides.

John Tejada - Better Days (Original Mix) >>> [BUY IT] (Palette Rec)

The name is the truth.  This is def one song I recognized from the late night, but just recently became aware it was produced by Tajeda.  Big tune worldwide.

John Tejada - Sweat (On the Walls) >>> [BUY IY] (Poker Flat Rec)

Hotter than most.

John Tejada - Ustable Condition (Original Mix) >>> [BUY IT] (Kompakt)

This one is an oldie but a goodie.  Fuck minimal.

John Tejada - Paper Jet (Original Mix) >>> [BUY IT] (Palette)

This is completely unrelated, but I am squeezing it in anyways.  The Late Night Tuff Guy is back at it again with this release on Dessert Island Discs.  Bad to the bone, Aussie style.

If you think John is a good producer, you shoulda seen him Beastin on the turntables years ago. One of my fave djs in the early 2000s. Doubles up copies, scratchin n cuttin. He banged the box like it was hip hop. All round Legend.
