John Tejada is a name which I will admit I hear quite a bit, but which I regrettably have little experience with - - in terms of time spent - - knowingly - - listening to his tracks. The guy is a legend in his own right, based simply on the number of nasty labels he has released on, some of which can be seen by checking out his resident advisor DJ page or his Discogs page. Dude makes some serious freaking tuners that will leave you in diapers eating out of a fucking airplane spoon - - face it, guys like this will always make producers like us feel like children. Oh well, at least the peach puree tastes damn good. Much on these.
I can see this tune being a soundtrack to some of my better days for sure. Or a song I would cry to while thinking of how much I love the girl who just dumped me. Either way, useful and good for the emotional roller coaster rides.

If you think John is a good producer, you shoulda seen him Beastin on the turntables years ago. One of my fave djs in the early 2000s. Doubles up copies, scratchin n cuttin. He banged the box like it was hip hop. All round Legend.
